Introduction Dear Principal, esteemed colleagues, and honored guests, Iam honored to present my teaching report for the academic year 2024-2024. Iam proud to say that this year, Ihave successfully completed all the objectives that Iset for myself before the start of the academic year. As an English teacher in this prestigious institution, Iconsider it my duty to maintain high standards of teaching while incorporating innovative methods that can benefit my students. Academic Performance This year, Itaught two classes of 7th graders and one class of 9th graders, which consisted of atotal of 90 students. As per the school's syllabus, Icovered all the necessary topics such as grammar, vocabulary building, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Along with these, Ialso incorporated some real-life based examples and activities that can help students to connect the classroom learning with the real world. To assess the performance of my students, Iconducted weekly assessments and monthly tests covering the entire syllabus. In these assessments, Itried to maintain a balanced approach, including both objective and subjective type questions. The results of these assessments have been encouraging, with most students managing to score above the average scores of the class. Engaging and Innovative Teaching Methods To keep the students engaged, Itried to incorporate different teaching methods such as group activities, educational games, and multimedia presentations. This approach helped to create alively and interactive learning environment in the classroom. One of the innovative methods that Iintroduced this year was "Flipped Classroom," where Iflipped the traditional classroom setting by giving the students access to pre-recorded lectures and assignments before the class time. This allowed me to spend more time on group activities, discussions, and problem-solving skills. The feedback from the students on this method has been overwhelmingly positive.
