Hello everyone! My name is Jane Smith, and Iam from the beautiful state of California in the United States. Iam here to introduce myself to all of you and share a little bit about who Iam and what Ido. Firstly, alittle bit about my background. Igrew up in asmall town in California and had awonderful childhood filled with outdoor adventures and family time. After graduating high school, Idecided to attend the University of California, Los Angeles, where Imajored in Psychology and minored in English literature. During my time in college, Ibecame very interested in studying and understanding the human mind and behavior, which led me to pursue acareer in counseling. After graduating from college, Iworked for afew years as acounselor at alocal community center, where Ihelped individuals and families work through avariety of issues including anxiety, depression, and relationship problems. While Iloved the work Iwas doing, Ieventually started to feel aburning desire to see more of the world and experience different cultures. Idecided to take aleap of faith and move across the world to China, where Icurrently live and work. For the past two years, Ihave been teaching English as asecond language to students of all ages in asmall town just outside of Shanghai. This has been an incredible experience, and Ihave learned so much about myself and the world around me during my time here. Teaching English has also given me the opportunity to further pursue my passion for languages and communication, which has always been an interest of mine. In my free time, Ilove to read, write, and explore the world around me. Ialso enjoy participating in local community events and getting to know the people and places around me.
