Firstofall,Iwouldliketotalkaboutitsorigin.Itwas duringtheSecondWorldWarinJune,1942,theGerman FascistshotfortheCzechvillageofLidicemenovertheage of16morethan140citizensandallbabies,andwomenand 90childrentakentoconcentrationcamps.Thevillagehouses, buildingswereburnedandgoodcarryofthevillagewas destroyedbytheNazis.Inordertomournforthevillageand thedeadchildreninthewaroffascistaggressionandto ensuretheirinalienablerightsoflife,educationandimprove theirlives.InNovember1949,theinternationaldemocratic women’sfederationdirectorsheldameetinginMoscowand decidedthefirstdayofJuneastheInternationalChildren’s Day.
