Sofar,scholarsabroadandathomestudythisnovelmainlyfromtheperspectiveof feminismandnarratology,stylisticsandrealismtheories.However,fewpeopleabroadorathome analyzethenovelfromtheperspectiveofpragmatics.Thispaperaimstousepragmaticstostudy thedialoguesofheroestodigouttheimplicatureoftheirimpliedmeaning.
