底栖无脊椎动物作为黄河源和长江源生态状态指标的 () 探讨性分析英文 ExploratoryAnalysisofBenthicInvertebratesasIndicatorsof EcologicalStatusoftheYellowRiverandYangtzeRiverSources Introduction: TheYellowRiverandYangtzeRiveraretwoofthemost importantriversinChina.Theyarethesourceoffreshwaterfor millionsofpeopleandsupportarichanddiverseecosystem. However,therapidindustrializationandurbanizationofthe surroundingareashaveresultedinseverepollutionoftheserivers. Inordertomonitorandmanagethehealthoftheseecosystems,it isessentialtofindreliableindicatorsoftheirecologicalstatus. Benthicinvertebratesarecommonlyusedasindicatorsofwater qualityandecologicalhealth.Inthisstudy,weexploretheuseof benthicinvertebratesasindicatorsoftheecologicalstatusofthe YellowRiverandYangtzeRiversources. Methodology: WeconductedfieldsurveysatsixsitesalongtheYellowRiver andfoursitesalongtheYangtzeRiversourcesduringthedry seasonfromMaytoJune2019.Benthicinvertebrateswere sampledusingastandardkick-netmethod.Weidentifiedthe collectedinvertebratestothelowesttaxonomiclevelpossibleand calculatedthediversityandrichnessindices.Wealsoanalyzedthe relationshipsbetweenthebenthicinvertebratesandthephysical andchemicalparametersofthewatersuchaspH,dissolved oxygen,andnutrientlevels. Results: Ourstudyfoundthatthebenthicinvertebratecommunitiesin theYellowRiverandYangtzeRiversourceswerediverseand abundantwithatotalof27differenttaxabeingidentified.The mostnumeroustaxawerethemayflylarvae,stoneflylarvae,and caddisflylarvae.TheYellowRiverhadhigherdiversityandrichness indicesthantheYangtzeRiversources.Wefoundasignificant positivecorrelationbetweenthediversityandrichnessofbenthic invertebratesandwaterqualityparameterssuchasdissolved oxygenandpH.However,therewasanegativecorrelation
