Asphaltmasticcrushedstonemixtureiswidelyusedinroadconstructiondue toitsexcellentproperties,suchashighdurability,fatigueresistance,and deformationresistance.Amongvarioustypesofasphaltmixtures,SMA-13has shownoutstandingperformance,makingitanattractivechoiceforroad constructionprojects.However,thepreparationtechnologyofSMA-13 mixturestillneedsfurtherinvestigationandoptimization. 2.ExperimentalDesign 2.1OrthogonalExperimentDesign Inthisresearch,theorthogonalexperimentdesignmethodisemployedto systematicallyinvestigatetheeffectsofdifferentfactorsontheperformance ofSMA-13mixture.Variousfactors,suchasasphaltcontent,mineral aggregatetype,mineralaggregategradation,andfillertype,areconsidered forthisstudy.Byarrangingthelevelsofeachfactoraccordingtoorthogonal arrays,asetofexperimentscanbeconductedtoexploretheinfluenceof individualfactorsandtheirinteractionsontheperformanceofSMA-13 mixture. 2.2TestMethods InordertoevaluatetheperformanceofSMA-13mixture,severaltestsare conducted,includingMarshallstability,ruttingresistance,tensilestrength ratio,andwaterstability.TheMarshallstabilitytestmeasurestheload-carrying
