Introduction Tunnelsareanessentialpartofthetransportation infrastructure,servingascriticalchannelsfortrafficflow.However, tunnellingactivitiesoftencausesurfacesubsidenceand deformation,whichmayleadtoseveresafetyissues.Therefore, thepredictionofdeformationandsettlementoftunnelroofsisof greatimportance.Toachieveaccuratepredictions,variousmodels basedonneuralnetworks,regressionanalysis,andBayesian inferencehavebeendeveloped.However,noneofthesemodels couldprovidereliableandrobustpredictionsunderall circumstances. Thepresentstudyaimstodevelopamulti-variableensemble predictionmodel,combiningmultiplevariablesindifferent domains,topredictthedeformationandsettlementoftunnels’ roof.Theproposedmodelistestedonacaseofatunnelproject toevaluateitspredictionaccuracyandpotentialpractical applications.
