Understandingitseffectcanhelpenhancethe performanceofaforebodyinavarietyofapplications. Introduction: Theaerodynamicbehaviorofaforebodyisan essentialaspectofitsdesignandperformance.Theflow characteristicsofaforebodycanaffectthestability,lift, drag,andcontrolofthevehicle.Inmanyapplications, suchasaircraftandautomobiles,thecontroloflateral pressureisvitalfortheefficientandsafeoperationofthe vehicle.Therefore,understandingtheeffectoflateral pressureontheflowofaforebodyisessentialfor improvingtheperformanceofthevehicle. ResearchMethodology: Thestudywasconductedusingcomputationalfluid dynamics(CFD)simulationtoanalyzetheflow characteristicsofaforebodyunderdifferentlateral pressures.Thesimulationwasrunusingacommercial softwarepackage,ANSYSFluent.Theforebodymodel usedwasasymmetricalNACAairfoilwitha20% thicknessratio.
