This paper studies the influence of gypsum interlayers on the construction of layered salt rock karst cavities, elaborates the influence of gypsum interlayers on the formation, position, size and stability of karst cavities, and puts forward some countermeasures. The experimental results show that the presence of gypsum interlayers has asignificant impact on the construction of layered salt rock karst cavities, but through reasonable treatment and design, the degree of influence can be effectively reduced and the exploration efficiency can be improved.
