Inrecentyears,we'vemadehistoricinvestments toboosttheVAbudget,expandveterans'benefits,and improvecareforourwoundedwarriors.We'venowslashed thedisabilityclaimsbacklogbynearly90percentfromits peak.We'rereducingtheoutrageofveterans'homelessness andwe'vehelpedtensofthousandsofveteransgetoffthe streets.Theveterans'unemploymentrateisdownto3.9 percent–evenlowerthanthenationalaverage. Ofcourse,we'renotsatisfied.We'vestillgotmore worktodo–andI'vedirectedmyAdministrationtokeep doingeverythingitcantofulfillourpromisetoour veterans.Butthisisn'tjustajobforgovernmentalone.We allhavearoletoplay.LessthanonepercentofAmericans areservinginuniform.Soit'struemostAmericansdon't alwaysseeandappreciatetheincredibleskillsandassets thatourveteranscanoffer.ButeveryAmericanshouldknow
