Introduction Thesealingofstructuressuchasbuildings,bridges,and tunnelsisanimportantissuethatdirectlyaffectstheirstructural strengthandservicelife.Inpracticalapplications,manysituations requiretheuseofsealantstofillgaps,cracks,andcavities,to achievetheidealeffectofsealingandbonding,andtoimprove thestabilityanddurabilityofthestructure.Resinanchoringagents arewidelyusedinsealingapplicationsduetotheirexcellent performance. Resinanchoringagentsareatypeofpolymermaterialthat hasthecharacteristicsofhighstrength,durability,andcorrosion resistance.Theyaremainlyusedinthefieldsofconstruction, transportation,andinfrastructure,andareoftenusedtoanchoror sealsteel,concrete,orothermaterials.Inaddition,resinanchoring agentscanalsobeusedtofillgaps,cracks,andcavities,orto repairdamagedordegradedstructures. ExperimentalResearch 1.WaterLeakagePreventionExperiment Thewaterleakagepreventionexperimentwascarriedoutto evaluatetheperformanceofresinanchoringagentsinsealing applications.Theexperimentwasconductedbypreparinga concretecolumnanddrillingaholeinthemiddleofthecolumn.A metalpipewasinsertedintothehole,andawatersourcewas connectedtothemetalpipetosimulatewaterleakage.Theresin anchoringagentwastheninjectedintotheholetofillthegap betweenthepipeandtheconcrete.Aftertheresinanchoring agenthadhardened,thewatersourcewasturnedontoobserve thesealingeffect.
