Therefore,itisimportanttoremoveironoxidefromkaolinbefore itscommercialuse.Magneticseparationisaneffectivetechnique forremovingironoxidefromkaolin.However,thetraditional magneticseparatorshavelowmagneticfieldstrengthandlow processingcapacity.Superconductingmagneticseparation systemshavebeendevelopedtoovercometheselimitations.In thisreport,weproposetodevelopadouble-tubetype superconductingmagneticseparatorforkaolinprocessing. Objectives: 1.Todesignandconstructadouble-tubetype superconductingmagneticseparatorforkaolinprocessing. 2.Tooptimizetheoperatingparametersofthemagnetic separatorformaximumremovalofironoxidefromkaolin. 3.Toevaluatetheperformanceofthemagneticseparatorin termsofmagneticfieldstrength,processingcapacity,andiron oxideremovalefficiency. 4.Tocomparetheperformanceoftheproposedmagnetic separatorwiththetraditionalmagneticseparators. Methodology: Thedevelopmentofthedouble-tubetypesuperconducting magneticseparatorforkaolinprocessingwillinvolvethefollowing steps: 1.Designofthedouble-tubetypesuperconductingmagnetic separatorusingcomputationaltoolssuchasfiniteelement analysis.
