The dehydrogenase activity in soil which was contaminated by petroleum and then biologically repaired was measured by the method of ultraviolet spectrometry. The research shows that the content of dehydrogenase in soils samples are so minute that cannot be detected by this method. Key words: soil; dehydrogenase; TTC; ultraviolet spectrometry .
