Introduction: Silicalite-1isamicroporousaluminosilicatematerialwitha three-dimensionalframeworkstructurecomposedof interconnectedchannelsandcages.Itisclassifiedasamolecular sievezeoliteduetoitsabilitytoselectivelyadsorbmolecules basedontheirsizeandshape.Silicalite-1isoftensynthesized throughahydrothermalprocessinvolvingtheuseoforganic structure-directingagents(OSDAs)totemplatetheframework structure.Hydrogenbondingplaysacriticalroleinthe crystallizationofSilicalite-1,leadingtotheformationof well-definedandhighlyorderedcrystals. Methods: Solid-stateNMRspectroscopyisapowerfultechniquefor investigatingthelocalstructuralinformationanddynamicsof materialsattheatomiclevel.Inthisstudy,^1Hand^29SiNMR spectroscopywereusedtoexaminethehydrogenbond-induced crystallizationmechanismofSilicalite-1.Samplesatvariousstages ofthesynthesisprocesswerecharacterizedusingmagic-angle spinning(MAS)NMRtoobtaindetailedstructuralinformation.
