Introduction Metalcorrosionisacommonprobleminindustry.Itcan causehugeeconomiclossesandaffectthesafetyofproduction equipment.Therefore,theresearchofcorrosioninhibitorshas importantvalueandpracticalsignificance.Asanewtypeof corrosioninhibitor,2-methylimidazolehasreceivedextensive attentionduetoitsgoodstabilityandlowtoxicity.Inthisstudy, thecorrosioninhibitionperformanceof2-methylimidazoleingas phasewasstudied,andthecorrosioninhibitorformulawas designedbasedontheresearchresults. Experimentalsection Thegasphasecorrosioninhibitionexperimentwascarried outbyelectrochemicalimpedancespectroscopy(EIS).The corrosioninhibitionrateof2-methylimidazolewascalculated.In theformuladesignexperiment,2-methylimidazole,triazole, benzotriazole,andimidazolewereselectedascorrosioninhibitors, anddifferentconcentrationsoftheinhibitorswereaddedtothe electrolytetotesttheircorrosioninhibitionperformance.The optimalcorrosioninhibitorformulawasobtainedbycomparing theresultsofdifferentexperiments.
