Dear Principal and Esteemed Colleagues, As the academic year comes to aclose, Iwould like to take this opportunity to present my annual personal statement report for the year 20XX-20XX. It has been an honor to serve as an English teacher at this outstanding institution. It has been an incredibly fruitful year filled with teaching and learning experiences that have positively impacted both my students and myself. Below is asummary of my work and the outcomes of my strategies and initiatives. Curriculum Development As the department head, Ihave worked closely with the team to develop arigorous and practical English curriculum for our students. This year we have incorporated modern literature and grammar content that has enabled students to better appreciate literature in English. The introduction of these materials has ensured that our school's English curriculum is aligned with international standards. Teaching and Learning Process Ibelieve in an active learning process where students are engaged and motivated to learn. Throughout the year, Ihave implemented ablended learning approach incorporating visual aids, technology tools, and interactive tools. This approach has been met with great success among my students, who have shown improved attention, engagement, and participation in class. Assessment Effective assessment is crucial in ensuring optimal student success. This year, apart from traditional pedagogical assessment methods, Ihave also introduced app-based assessment tools such as Kahoot! and Quizlet. These tools have shown to not only engage my students but have also provided me with valuable real-time feedback on their level of understanding of the materials. Professional Development
