电磁固体非均匀载荷作用下的裂纹分析 Introduction Cracksinsolidmaterialscanleadtodevastating consequencesinstructuralintegrityandsafety.Therefore, understandingcrackbehaviorundercomplexloadingconditions iscrucial.Electromagneticloadsonmaterials,especially non-uniformloads,areincreasinglyprevalentinmanymodern applications.Inthispaper,weaimtoanalyzethebehaviorof cracksinsolidmaterialsundernon-uniformelectromagnetic loads. Background Whenasolidmaterialissubjectedtoanelectromagnetic field,itexperiencesaforcethatdependsonthecurrentdensity andthemagneticfieldintensity.Non-uniformelectromagnetic loadsoccurwhenanelectriccurrentpassesthroughanobject withavariablecross-section,whichresultsinanon-uniform magneticfielddistribution.Attheatomicscale,theseforcescan leadtochangesinthecrystalstructureoralignmentofatoms, causingdefectsandcracks. Modeling Tomodelthebehaviorofcracksundernon-uniform electromagneticloads,weusedthefiniteelementmethod(FEM). Thiscomputationalmethoddividesthematerialintosmall elements,allowingforthecalculationofelectromagneticforces andstressdistributionateachelement.Theboundaryconditions ofthematerialweresetbasedonthegivenloadingconditions andthematerialproperties.Weusedacommercialsoftware package,ANSYS,toperformthesimulations. Results Thesimulationresultsshowedthatnon-uniform electromagneticloadshadasignificanteffectoncrackbehavior. Underuniformloads,crackspropagateinastraightlinewitha constantspeed,whileundernon-uniformloads,thecrackpath becamemorecomplex,withchangesindirectionandvelocity.The crackswerealsofoundtohaveahighertendencyto“arrest,” meaningthecrackgrowthceasedatcertainpointsdueto redistributionoftheelectromagneticforces.
