湍流扩散火焰中对基于混合分数的湍流燃烧模型的数 () 值研究英文 Numerical Investigation on Turbulent Combustion Model Based on Mixture Fraction in Turbulent Diffusion Flames Introduction: Turbulent combustion is acomplex and challenging area of research as it involves the interaction of fluid mechanics, chemical kinetics, and heat transfer. In particular, turbulent diffusion flames are of great interest due to their widespread applications in various industrial and natural processes. The understanding and prediction of these flames can be improved by developing and analyzing numerical models. In this paper, we investigate aturbulent combustion model based on mixture fraction (MF) for turbulent diffusion flames. Turbulent Combustion Model: The MF model assumes that the mixture of fuel and air can be described by asingle variable, the MF, which represents the mass fraction of fuel in the mixture. The MF equation is solved along with the continuity, momentum, energy, and species transport equations in order to obtain the temperature, velocity, and species concentrations in the flame. The MF model also includes apresumed pdf approach to model the probability density function of the MF. Numerical Setup: To study the performance of the MF model, we performed numerical simulations of alaboratory-scale turbulent diffusion flame. The computational domain consisted of arectangular box with dimensions 20 cm ×20 cm ×20 cm. Amixture of methane and air was injected through anozzle into acoflowing stream of heated air. The inlet velocity and temperature of the coflowing air were kept constant at 1m/s and 400 K, respectively. The equivalence ratio of the fuel-air mixture was 0.7. The simulations were performed using the commercial software ANSYS Fluent. Results and Discussion: The numerical simulations showed that the MF model was able to predict the flame structure and characteristics accurately.
