Introduction: Languageproficiencyassessmentplaysasignificantrolein measuringlearners'languageabilitiesanddesigningeffective languageteachingprograms.WiththeexpansionofEnglishasan internationallanguage,thisstudyexamineshowcollegeEnglish curriculumrequirementsalignwithestablishedlanguage proficiencyscales.Suchresearchcanprovidevaluableinsightsinto thecoherenceandeffectivenessoflanguageeducationprograms.
