Key words:ancient philosophy；TCM viscera picture theory；brain governs the spirit；heart and brain both govern the spirit ; 近10年来，关于“孰主神明”的争论十分激烈。据笔者所掌握 的资料，仅在中医期刊中就发表了上百篇论文，形成了“心主神明”、 “脑主神明”、“心脑共主神明”的三足鼎立的格局。本文从以下几 个方面进行总结和论证，认为只能是“心主神明”，“脑主神明”和 “心脑共主神明”不能成立。
