ADC gene was introduced into 'Dream Blue' to study its physiological response to drought stress and low temperature. The transgenic and wild type plants were compared. The results showed that transgenic fan flower 'Dream Blue' had stronger water conservation and antioxidant capacity under drought and low temperature stress, and also had relatively higher chlorophyll content, suggesting that ADC gene may play arole in regulating water
