His methods and prescriptions for syndrome differentiation and treatment were condemned by later generations. Based on classics and clinical practice， modern medical doctors have expanded the treatment methods of palpitations.It is summarized that the experience of some famous old Chinese medicine practitioners in treating palpitations is as follows， including the combination of the false or the reall， five viscera or hollow organs and the combination of the diagnosis of Western medicine and the syndrome of Chinese medicine.
