Dear fellow students, teachers, and guests, It is an incredible honor to have the chance to speak to you all today about the importance of staying motivated and inspired, particularly during these times of uncertainty and challenge. As we navigate through the ups and downs of adolescence, it can be easy to lose sight of our goals and dreams, especially when faced with daily stressors, academic obstacles, and social pressures. However, it is critical that we maintain asense of purpose and drive, both for our personal growth and for our contributions to the world around us. To begin, Iwant to share apersonal story that has shaped my own understanding of the power of determination. When Iwas younger, Istruggled with severe anxiety and depression, to the point where Ioften felt like giving up on everything. Iloathed going to school, Iavoided social interactions, and Ifelt like my future was bleak and meaningless. However, with the help and support of my family and counselors, Ibegan to develop coping strategies and positive habits that allowed me to take control of my own life.
