Research Methodology Firstly, aliterature review will be conducted to examine previous research on the wind-induced response of high-rise buildings and the effectiveness of TMDs. The methodology will then proceed to conduct a finite element analysis of aselected high-rise building to simulate the cross-wind vibrations experienced by the structure. The response of the structure will be analyzed, including its natural frequencies, modes of vibration, and damping ratios. The inclusion of TMDs and their effectiveness in controlling the vibrations will also be investigated. Expected Outcomes It is expected that this research will provide abetter understanding of the wind-induced response of high-rise buildings in cross-wind directions and the effectiveness of TMDs in controlling vibrations. The results of this study can be used to improve the design and construction of high-rise structures and increase occupant comfort and safety.
