SeniorCapstone: TheseniorcapstonecourseintheAESprogram,EGR 410,“SystemMethodology”wascreatedtogivestudentsexperien__with usingasystems____ysistechniquetodevelopsolutionsto“realworld” technicalandnon-technicalprojects.Studentsaredividedintoteamsof 4-5membersandworkonasemesterlongtopiceithersuggestedbythe professor,orevolvedfromwithingroupbrainstorming.Using__terial fromclasslectures,thestudentteamscollectdataand__terialtoassist themindevelopingtheirsolution.Eachteamisrequiredtodoafor__l presentation,aswellasprovideathoroughwrittenreportofthepro__ss andfindings.Theasses__entpro__ssinvolvesseveralaspects.The professor__intainsawrittencommentaryoneachgroup,theirprogress, thefinalreportandthefinalpaper.Inadditionallstudentsintheclass providewrittenfeedbacktothegroupandtheprofessor.Inre__ntyears,
