The research results show that various factors such as personal factors, social factors, and tourism factors have an impact on the participation of urban residents in sports tourism, among which the most significant factors are personal sports hobbies, tourism income, and social networks. Therefore, when promoting the sports tourism activities of urban residents, the impact of the above factors should be fully considered, and corresponding strategies and measures should be adopted to provide more opportunities for residents to participate in sports tourism.
