Introduction: N-Nitro-N-substitutedbenzamidesarederivativesof benzamideinwhichthenitrogenoftheamidegroupis substitutedbyanitrogroup(NO2)andthearomaticringisfurther substituted.Thesecompoundsexhibitarangeofpharmacological andbioactiveproperties,includinganalgesic,anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial,andantitumoractivities.Thesynthesisof N-nitro-N-substitutedbenzamidesinvolvesseveralmethods, includingnitrationandN-substitutionreactions.Thebiological activityofthesecompoundshasattractedsignificantattention,as theyhaveshownpromisingresultsinvariousdrugdiscovery programs.
